Learning about different holidays is especially fun when you have such a diverse class. It was our day to go and teach the kids about 'Thanksgiving'. Chris couldn't not show a clip of Barry Sanders playing american football! I had to insist that the pilgrims and the indians were thrown in somehow and of course, the whole "being thankful" part.

Just a comment on the Thanksgiving presentation: After the wonderful Skype call on Thanksgiving, Ma had one question: Who's Barry Sanders? Hard to believe she used to be a rabid, ref-cussing football fan (but only for the three years Chris played for Fremont.) Hope you all have a great holiday season!
