Riga-diculous

So, who thinks traveling with kids is fun? And who thinks traveling at all in -15 degree weather is fun? And who thinks that maybe a person should be "checked" if they put the two together?

Me too. (Which reminds me, I gotta make Chris an appt.)

The main reason for even going to Riga, Latvia was for the TGIFridays and Dr. Pepper. We're still trying to figure if it was worth it. The Friday's food made me sooo sick. And Chris about puked after drinking a DP- more sugar and fat then we are used to maybe? Who knows, but it was definitely American :)

Too freezing to walk or breathe or look outside, here's what we did:

All in all we really did enjoy being together, and that's why you go, right? Because we always come home and wonder why we ever even think it a good idea to take three little munchkins anywhere other than home :)

wOrd!

Bradly: Mom, will we see Jesus one day? When we go to Paris?

Lorenzo: Dad! You can speak 'college'? (with all the variety of languages here, it makes perfect sense)

Bradly: You're the best mom in the whole country. (too bad Lithuania is so small)

Mommy: Will you pray for dad to be safe?
Lorenzo: Why? Cause we don't want him to die? Cause he's our favorite dad.

sweets

What's in a word

Brads: Mom, I don't like these sweet songs. (While listening to something that wasn't of the head-banging variety)

Lorenzo: I don't like the pig shot. (After swine flu vaccine)

Brads: Can I play the 'compano'? (computer and piano mixed)

Lorenzo: Can we listen to Jimi? (Hendrix- another proud daddy moment)

And, in case you were worried...

... Chris' flare for creativity has not diminished in old age.

Let the good times roll
