Girl's Week!

What's to say- the week of all weeks. Three girls, three countries, three times the shopping! Lithuania: Vilnius to Kaunas, to Siauliai, to Latvia: Riga to Jurmala, to Lithuania: Vilnius to Druskininkai, to Poland: Gierloz to Ketrzyn, to Lithuania: Vinius! We saw the Ninth Fort Camp in Kaunas, the Hill of Crosses in Siauliai, Old Town Riga, the Baltic Sea in Jurmala, the soviet statue park "Gruto Parkas" in Druskininkai, stayed at "The Wolf's Lair" in Gierloz, ate ice cream in Ketrzyn (as it was Sunday and all else was closed), and soaked up the sites in Vilnius. Only done, of course, with a most amazing husband watching all three kiddos.

Lorenzo: (to his friend) You have to listen to Jesus and not smoke. Do you listen to Jesus?

Bradly: Mom, you are mean.
Mom: Yep, I am.
Bradly: I want you to be a good mom, not a bad one.
Mom: (smiling to self, no reply)
Bradly: Mom, did you listen? Mom! Did you listen!?

Lorenzo: Mom, Jesus just said something in my head.
Mom: What did he say?
Lorenzo: Umm... I love you.

Lithuania Independence Day

Awesome, no?

Ya, so I pretty much scored with this husband of mine. Of course, he feels the same way. But, to topic at hand- Surprise date night to:
"Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street"
or in Lithuanian,
„Svynis Todas: Demonas kirpėjas“




To fully explain, it was in the good ol' English language, with Lithuanian subtitles. So, I was able to fully enjoy the show. And, enjoy we did. It was absolutely fabulous!
